Coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC, of Ibadan, Fatai Amoo has assured fans of the Ibadan, Oyo State-based team that the club won’t suffer when the current Nigeria Premier League, NPL ends on Sunday.
The Oluyole Warriors, as 3SC are fondly called, need at least a draw in their last league game against Lobi Stars of Makurdi in Ibadan on Sunday and the former Nigerian international believes the tie is a must-win game for his team.
“We’ll beat Lobi in Ibadan. We are not looking for a draw in the match, outright victory is what we are going to settle for by the grace of God. We want to avoid relegation and I believe the team have what it takes to achieve that,” said Amoo.
“Our game against Lobi is a crucial match and we’ll approach it with all seriousness,” he said.
The Ibadan-based team are tied on 44 points with Ocean Boys of Yenagoa on the league table.
