Association of Movie Producers of Nigeria (AMP) led by consummate film maker, Zik Zulu Okafor will travel to California, U.S.A. in June for an international workshop.
Billed to travel with them is their latest member, Melvin Ejiro, who is the first son of celebrated movie producer/director, Zeb Ejiro otherwise called Sheik of Nollywood.
Younger Ejiro said he had actually learnt the rudiments of movie production and it is well reflected in some productions he has handled for his father.
He and other AMP executives are travelling to California to acquaint themselves with the latest movie production standards to enhance the knowledge they have acquired over the years.
“From all strong indications, the workshop would undoubtedly boost the knowledge I have acquired formally during the Nollywood upgrade project (Certificate of Participation Workshop in December 2012 and Abuja Film Festival Certificate of Introduction to Production Management and 2014 Script Development Workshop,” he said.
