A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Generation For Peace (GFP), said on Monday that it trained 60 women in Kaduna State on peace building and conflict resolution.

The lead trainer, Miss Ruth Bala, said the women were also trained to partake in decision making processes in their communities.

She said that programme targeted Christian and Muslim women living in areas experiencing crisis, to encourage dialogue and promote peaceful coexistence in their communities.

Bala said that 12 communities from the state were selected for the training with five Christian and Muslim women selected from each of the communities.

“ NGO had trained 30 women and in this second section of the programme another 30 were selected from different communities.
