The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria has applauded the giants strides of the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, towards the release of 21 Chibok girls through the efforts of the International Red Cross and the Swedish government on Thursday.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community described the bold step as a testimony of Buhari’s determination to secure the lives of all Nigerians and gradual fulfillment of his electoral promises on the eradication of Boko Haram and release of the Chibok girls.

The Islamic organisation in a statement signed by its Amir Sahib (National Head), Dr Mashhud Adenrele Fashola also commends the efforts towards rehabilitating the girls and rejoiced with their parents; giving hope to the remaining children will be released in due course.

It noted with satisfaction, the discipline, high sense of duty, good conduct and patriotism exemplify by the Nigeria security agencies in the fight against Boko Haram.

The Islamic organisation set for its centenary celebration in December, Prayed to Allah swt to give President Buhari the good health and wisdom in his tasks and accept it as an act of Ibadah.
