The Department of State Services (DSS) has confirmed that it carried out raids of the homes of some judges in Abuja and Port Harcourt because of allegations of corruption levelled against them.

The Department on Friday night raided the homes of two Supreme Court justices in Abuja and the home of a federal judge in Port Harcourt Rivers State.

At a news conference at the DSS headquarters, Abuja on Saturday, a DSS operative, Garba Abdullahi, explained that the Department had been monitoring the lifestyles of some judges, and that it was determined to bring sanity to the judiciary.
