Bimpe Onakoya and husband stranded in South Africa

Bimpe-Onakoya

Nigerian award winning makeup guru Bimpe Onakoya and her husband are currently stranded in Johannesburg, South Africa after they were robbed of all their belongings at gunpoint an hour after they entered the town yesterday.

See her post from yesterday below.

This has been one of the longest days I have had in a while! But you know through all, God always places help around for his own children. My hubby and I are fine and unharmed. Apart from some initial confusion, the Nigerian consulate has been very helpful to us. They have accommodated us, given us funds to buy phones and a change of clothes and even fed us. May God bless them real good. We are also grateful to the South African Police that made sure we were attended to, and the officer that also borrowed me his phone to make the previous post so that our loved ones will know the situation. We are moving past this traumatizing experience with thankfulness to God for allowing us to come out with out lives. Thank you all so much for the show of love. We really appreciate you.
