An unidentified middle-aged man was arrested by security agents at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin, venue of the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship primary on Saturday for allegedly stealing a mobile phone.
The suspect who did not wear any identification tag was caught by eagle-eyed security operatives while removing a mobile phone from the pocket of an unsuspecting delegate.
The suspect was later handcuffed and taken to the security barricade. Some security agents wondered how he got into the stadium undetected.
