World athletics governing body, International Amateur Athletics Federation (IAAF) on Friday announced the suspension of three staff members in an ethics probe.

The federation’s Ethics Board provisionally suspended Nick Davies, Jane Boulter-Davies and Pierre-Yves Garnier, pending an investigation of potential ethics breaches.

“There is no greater priority for the IAAF right now than to get to the truth of the allegations that have been made against the sport.

“The orders for provisional suspension have been imposed in the interests of the integrity of the sport but do not prejudge the outcome of the investigations which are now to follow,’’ the board said.
