FG holds special town hall meeting in Kano

The Federal Government will hold a special town hall meeting on Friday in Kano to commemorate the one year anniversary of President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Information and Culture on Wednesday in Abuja said that the meeting to be conducted in Hausa language would hold at the Coronation Hall, Government House, Kano.

The statement signed by Mr Peter Dama, the Director, Public Relations and Protocol in the ministry said that the event would be coordinated by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

It stated that some of the Hausa-speaking ministers would interact with Nigerians on the successes of the administration in the last one year.

The statement said that the event would be broadcast live on the Hausa Service of Radio Nigeria Kaduna, the Nigerian Television Authority and the Voice of Nigeria.

It stated that the event would also be streamed live on the website of the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture.

It said that print and electronic media had been invited to cover the event.
