Jamie Vardy got back to his best against Liverpool at the King Power Stadium when he scored twice in a mid-week Premier League clash.
Vardy who extended his goals in the league to 18 helped his team to remain top of the table as they beat Jurgen Klopp’s 2-0.
Title challengers, Arsenal could not close the gap between and the league as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Southampton while Manchester City climbed second thanks to a goal from hitman, Sregio Aguero.
City beat Sunderland 1-0 at the Stadium of Light.
Tottenham now third, beat Norwich 3-0.
