Chicken Republic modern fast food African brand is probably having a laugh and a headache at the same time following the reaction of Nigerians to it advert about Olisa Metuh, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) spokesperson.
The ad which has been interpreted in a thousand and one ways by readers and observers. Some believe that the ad ridicules Metuh and his political party but others think its ingenuity by Chicken Republic.
In the coming days, Chicken Republic will know if their ad is a hit or miss but for now Nigerians are making the most of it on social media.
The honest questions I have: 1. Did Chicken Republic break any branding /advertising rules? 2. Did they post anything that was sensitive?
