The All Progressives Congress has debunked reports that it announced a winner for the party’s primaries to select a candidate for the Anambra central senatorial election.

The primaries could not be concluded on Wednesday as voters in three out of seven local councils were yet to vote.

One of the aspirants for the seat, Sharon Ikeazor alleged some foul play by her main rival, Uche Ekwunife, who crossed over from the Peoples Democratic Party.

“Senator Domingo Obende who was duly appointed by the party to conduct the primaries is yet to declare a final result, hence any other result announced from any quarter is null and void”, Buni said.
