Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state, southwest Nigeria, has advised Nigerians to always show love and affection to the families of fallen heroes.

He reminded the people that, irrespective of all what could be happening to us, Nigeria must remain indivisible.

Amosun stated this Friday while speaking with newsmen at the arcade ground, Abeokuta, immediately after the completion of this year’s armed forces remembrance day celebration in the state.

According to him, “there is need for us to appreciate the families of the fallen heroes. We should take good care of their families, we should show appreciation to those who are fighting at the war front.

“Some people are out there day and night, fighting and protecting us. We cannot pretend not to know they are there sacrificing their lives for us.

“We must show love, affection and appreciation to them and also to the families of those who lost their lives.
