Home-based Eagles, also known as CHAN Eagles, on Monday defeated Ivory Coast by a lone goal in an international friendly match in South Africa.
The goal was scored in the first half of the match which was described as tough encounter by football pundits.
Details were still sketchy at the time of this report.
The Eagles led by Coach Sunday Oliseh had played a 1-1 draw against Angola in another friendly match played last weekend.
The three teams are participating in the CHAN tournament taking place in Kigali this weekend.
