Walmart Nigeria excites citizens

Nigerians are visibly excited by the news that Walmart, an American multinational retail corporation that operates a chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores and grocery stores is coming to the country.

Although Walmart is yet to issue an official statement, Walmart has already opened opened a Twitter account to announce its coming to the most populous black nation in the world.

In its first tweet on @Walmart_Nigeria, it wrote: “Hello from Nigeria”, then followed it with another and then a poll.

Walmart is one of the biggest retail chain in the world and as of November 30, 2015, it has a total of 11,598 stores in 28 countries, under a total of 65 banners.
