The Technical Adviser of Warri Wolves, Paul Aigbogun has expressed joy at the 3-0 defeat of Sunshine Stars of Akure in their Saturday’s home match at the Warri Township, Stadium.

The victory earned Wolves 55 points and a move to the second position on the log.

Wolves had so far played 32 matches and are now behind the league leaders, Enyimba of Aba now with 58 points from 31 matches.

Aigbogun hailed his boys’ sterling performance, saying they played according to instructions. “We will keep working hard by giving a 100 per cent in our remaining matches.

“We want to try to do better than last year, so we have to keep working hard day in day out,’’ he said.

Gbolahan Salami, the Wolves hitman scored the hat trick to earn the three maximum points.

Salami, who was voted man of the match urged fans to continue to support the team to enable them to lift the elusive trophy league shield.

The match was the week 32 fixture of the 2014/2015 Glo Premier League.

Osadiaye Joseph also of Wolves had earlier missed a glaring chance in the 42nd minute.

Sunshine is currently occupying the third spot after 32 games with 53 points.
