21 ships to arrive Lagos ports with petroleum products, food

Twenty-one ships laden with petroleum products, food and other goods are expected to arrive Lagos ports from Monday to Sept. 30.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its daily publication, ‘Shipping Position,’ made available to newsmen on Monday in Lagos.

According to NPA, 10 of the expected ships will sail into the ports with frozen fish, buckwheat, bulk sugar and palm olein.

The document indicated that general cargo and containers would be brought in by seven ships.

According to NPA, the remaining four ships will sail in with petrol and base oil.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that six other ships had arrived the ports and waiting to berth.

The NPA said the ships sailed in with general cargo, bulk salt, petrol and aviation fuel.
