Towards easing online trading, Nigeria’s total telecommunications service provider and Konga.com have entered into a business deal to bring a whole new world of opportunities to online customers of the two companies.

The partnership which was sealed recently and tagged ‘Glo with Happiness’, promises a myriad of interesting deals to customers of the two companies.

According to the terms of the partnership, a reward scheme tagged ‘Recharge and Win’ promo will kick start the agreement, which will avail all subscribers on the Globacom network the privilege of enjoying discounts off their first purchases on Konga.

A joint press release issued by both companies in Lagos said Globacom subscribers simply need to recharge their phones with airtime of N1,000 or more to get discount code immediately, which automatically gives them a bonus of N1,000 off their first order on konga.com.

On the strength of this deal, Globacom now owns a dedicated store on Konga’s marketplace which will provide a wider opportunity for Nigeria’s online community to access Globacom products. The online store, www.konga.com/gloworld, will feature a wide range of devices including Modems, Routers, SIM Cards, Dongles, MiFi modems, power banks, memory cards, phones, tablets and computers at incredibly low prices and with the guarantee of fast nationwide delivery.

Customers wishing to purchase any of these devices on Konga will enjoy a special treat of up to 4.5GB of free data on their new devices and a further 100% bonus data for subsequent subscriptions made on the devices for a whole year from Globacom.

Globacom’s Regional chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Ashok Israni explained that the company struck the deal with Konga to widen its reach to the online community in accordance with its tradition of bringing its products and services closer to all its subscribers.
