The September edition of the monthly special live performance of Nigeria’s doyen of Highlife music, Dr. Victor Abimbola Olaiya (OON), holds this Sunday, 6 September, 2015.
Tagged ‘An Evening With Victor Olaiya,’ the show, staged on the first Sunday of every month, is slated for the age-long Stadium Hotel, Surulere, Lagos at 5 p.m.
Speaking in a telephone chat, Olaiya promised a superlative performance and urged all Highlife music enthusiasts as well as other lovers of good music to come and enjoy the best of Highlife music.

Meanwhile, fast rising music outfit, Apple Spinners Band, is once again set to entertain fans and other music lovers during a special show slated for this Sunday at Firewood Lounge and Bar, a newly commissioned celebrity hangout located on Commercial Avenue in Sabo, Yaba, Lagos.
Leader of the band, Prince Oluwajoba Ojatunwase, disclosed that a partnership pact has been signed with the management of the cozy rendezvous led by a Lagos businessman, Ladi Otujinrin.
He said as a result, his band performs there live every Sunday, adding that the turnout of fans and other fun lovers, during previous shows, has been quite impressive.
This Sunday’s show, according to Ojatunwase, promises to be fun-filled, while safety of lives and property of patrons is fully guaranteed.
