Nigeria Air Force plane this morning crashed in Kaduna with all seven crew members on board feared dead.
P.M.News gathered that the plane , a Donier Jet 228 was on its way from Kaduna Airforce Base to Abuja , before it suddenly crashed between two houses at the NDA Ribadu Cantonment .
The Airforce jet according to a military source who confirmed the incident to P.M.News said it crashed at old site of the Nigeria Defense Academy , NDA at about 6.30am .
“We heard a loud sound like bomb blast, when we came out to confirm what it was , we saw flames. After tracing the site , we then discovered that it was an Airforce jet that crashed .”The source said.
He equally hinted that the jet which crashed within residential area at the NDA barrack also injured some persons.
Though as at the time of filing this report there was still no official report on the crash or exact casualty figure, the source who consistently spoke under plea of anonymity said during rescue operations , seven dead bodies were recovered from the crash site .
All efforts by journalists that were at NDA crash site to get information about crash were barred for gaining entrance in to the place.
