A 27-year-old private school bursar has been arrested after she allegedly stole N600,000 being school fees paid by the students of First Class Nursery and Primary School, Ikotun, Lagos State, western Nigeria.

The incident happened in July at the school premises located at 4, Ede street, Ikotun-Ijegun road, Ikotun, a suburb of Lagos.

The suspect, Toyibat Kamorudeen, was employed as accounting officer of the school where she was in charge of money paid by the students as fees.
