Tinubu-Ojo Mourns Iyaloja-General Of Lagos Island

Chief (Mrs.) Folashade Tinubu-Ojo

lyaloja-General of Nigeria, Chief (Mrs.) Folashade Tinubu-Ojo has described the late lyaloja-General of Lagos lsland East and West, Alhaja Osuolale lyabode Fagbemi, who died in the early hours of Monday at the age of 80 years, as a woman of honour.

The late Alhaja Fagbemi was buried Monday evening according to Muslim rites at the Abari cementery on Lagos lsland.

Present at the burial were  Chief (Mrs.) Tinubu-Ojo, market men and women, traditional rulers, politicians and several other dignitaries.

Chief Tinubu-Ojo praised the late lyaloja for a life well spent in the service to humanity, adding that the market women and men she served selflessly during her lifetime would miss her dearly.

Alhaja lyabode Dange, the spokeswoman of the late lyaloja of Lagos lsland East and West, eulogised the deceased for a life spent to always bring smiles to the faces of her subjects.

”Mama was one in a million and we will miss her for her kindness, love, philanthropic works and uncommon passion for the growth and welfare of traders, commerce, Lagos State and the country in general.

”May Allah grant our mother eternal rest,”  Alhaja Dange said.
