Against the backdrop of last week’s dissolution of boards and agencies by President Muhammadu Buhari, the All Progressives Congress, APC in the south south has warned the Managing Director of NDDC, Dan Abia to stop work and desist from continuously occupying the said office as the MD.

National Vice Chairman, South South of APC, Prince Hilliard Eta in a statement issued in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital on Sunday, said the warning was on the heels of report that Mr. Abia has continued to occupy the office of the Commission’s MD and has made Nigerians believe that his position was not affected by the recent dissolution of Boards and Agencies by the President.

Eta who also urged Abia to read all relevant statutes establishing the commission and take precaution also warned that the ousted MD risked severe sanctions should he continue in office after the dissolution.
