Nigeria’s U-23 Eagles have been tipped to do the country proud in their future engagements beginning with the African U-23 Championship final round, first leg qualifier against Congo, this Sunday in Port Harcourt.

This assurance was given by Prince Efemena Elutabe, the President of Lagos based non-league side, Freestan Sports Club.

Freestan recently played against Samson Siasia’s Dream Team in a friendly tie in Port Harcourt which the U-23 Eagles won 3-1.

Elutabe opined that the quality of the players in the national team and buoyed by the experience and astuteness of Siasia-led technical crew would certainly make the team too hot to handle for any opposition.

He went ahead to enjoin every soccer fan to turn out enmasse to support the U-23 team against Congo, on Sunday.
