A crack team of Edo State Police Command have arrested two persons suspected to be kidnappers of a cousin to the governor of Edo state, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.

According to police sources, the kidnap victim whose name was not disclosed, regained his freedom from his abductors one week after he was kidnapped in June.

Confirming the arrest, Edo State Police Command spokesman, DSP Stephen Onwochei, said the suspects were nabbed at their hideout at Agbede in Estako West local government area, adding that efforts had been intensified to arrest other members of the gang.

He disclosed that the Police Commissioner, Samuel Adegbuyi, has ordered that the suspects to be transferred to the anti-kidnapping unit for further investigations.
