Customs Gets New Image Maker At Seme

An Assistant Superintendent of Customs II, Afiz Abiodun Ajao, is now the Public Relations Officer of Seme Area Command of Nigeria Customs Service.

He replaces Ernest Attah Olottah who recently proceeded on pre-retirement leave from the Service.

Born on 25 December 1981, Ajao holds a Bachelor’s degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) in Ogun State.

Ajao is also an alumnus of the Federal Polytechnic, Offa Kwara State, where he had earlier bagged an Ordinary National Diploma between 2000 and 2001 before proceeding to OOU in 2003.

Before his posting to Seme, he had his basic Customs Training at the nation’s premier Customs Training College, Ikeja and also served at Oyo/Osun Command of the Service where he was engaged in Excise and Patrol Duties.

He had also served in the Enforcement Section at the Seme Area Command before his redeployment to the Public Relations Unit where he served as Second in Command.

He has attended several short courses including Nigeria Customs Service sponsored Public Relations Training in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State in April 2015.

A happy family man, Ajao is married and has demonstrated commitment to serving with zeal and passion.

The Customs Area Controller of the Command has called on the media and other stakeholders to continue in their support and cooperation with the Command while wishing the retired Ernest Attah Olottah success in all his future endeavours.
