National Working Committee (NWC) of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said it would collaborate with Board of Trustees (BoT) and other stakeholders of the party to re-engineer and stabilise the party.

This was contained in a statement issued by Olisa Metuh, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, on Tuesday in Abuja.

Metuh said that the collaboration was intended to restore the party to its preeminent position in the polity and solicited commitment of party members across the federation in the rebuilding process.

He also assured of the determination of the party`s leadership to instil internal democracy, ensure strict adherence to rules and zero tolerance for indiscipline, while upholding the supremacy of the party and its constitution at all times.

He congratulated Dr Haliru Mohammed on his emergence as the acting chairman of the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT) and Mr Uche Secondus, acting National Chairman of the party.

Metuh said that Mohammed as a former acting national chairman and former deputy national chairman of the party, was adequately equipped to serve at the level in steering the ship of the party`s BoT.

This, he said, Mohammed would do in the overall quest to rebuild and reposition the party ‘’at this point in time’’ and urged members to support him.
