Eight lucky Etisalat GEM customers have been rewarded with an all-expense-paid trip to Barcelona to watch this year’s La-Liga final matches, between FC Barcelona and Deportivo De La Coruna on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the Nou Camp, Barcelona, Spain.
These customers were selected as the highest spending customers on the Etisalat network for 2014.
The top customers are Iroche Chuks, Onuegbu Larry, Chinelo Okeke, Ibeh Silvester, Aikhionbare Samuel, Tumsah Ibrahim, Okonjo Chichi and Okarevu Davies.
Speaking at the meet- and -greet session organised by the telecoms company for the winners, Director, Consumer Segment Etisalat Nigeria, Oluwole Rawa said the company has always rewarded loyalty among its customers.
Rawa added, “At Etisalat, our customers are at the heart of our business and we are rewarding them for their loyalty and also connecting them with their passion. The game of football has a mass followership across the world, just like Etisalat, and as the Nigerian telecoms partner of FC Barcelona, we want our customers to experience the La-Liga final match in a memorable way.”
One of the winners, Mr. Davies Okarevu expressed joy at the opportunity to watch the La-Liga final match, noting that, “I am truly excited and this is a dream come true for me because I have always dreamt of watching live, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar da-Silva Santos Jnr and their teammates. I am very grateful to Etisalat for appreciating their customers with this magnanimous offer and I urge other companies to emulate Etisalat.”
The 2014–15 La Liga season is the 84th season of the premier association football league in Spain. The campaign began on 23 August, 2014 and ends this Sunday. Barcelona won their 23rd title on 17 May, 2015 after defeating defending champions Atlético Madrid at the Vicente Calderón Stadium, Madrid, Spain.
