The District Police Officer in charge of Atan-Otta, Police Station under Onipanu Division in Ogun State, southwest Nigeria, Mr. Shola Majekodunmi, is at war with Mrs. Biola Badmus, the CEO of Bee Bee Hotel situated along Ajegunle Alapoti Road, Atan over unpaid bills.

According to Mrs. Badmus, Mr. Majekodunmi, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP, lodged in her hotel for two months before he moved out and he did not pay her about N160,000 which was the amount he incurred.

“He did not pay me for the two months he stayed in my hotel and I did not even border myself until  the day when one man came to tell me that Mr. Majekodunmi said I wanted him to sleep with me that was why he moved out.

“I am a married woman and I respect my womanhood a lot. So I asked the man: ‘Can you say this in his presence?’ And he said said ‘yes’.

“Then I prepared all his bills including drinks and food he ate; because at times if he has visitors he will request for food and drinks and we have all the records. So we headed for his office and when I got there I asked him why he is blackmailing me by telling people that I wanted him to sleep with me that was why he moved out of the hotel.

“I then handed over the bills to him and demanded for the money. He denied telling anyone that I wanted him to sleep with me and the man came out and confronted him. And the next thing he did was to pick up a stone and throw it at the man.

“He grabbed the man and started to drag him, saying he was going to detain him and I said he cannot. So we dragged the man together until other people intervened and he threatened to arrest the man. I am still waiting for that,” Mrs. Badmus explained.

When P.M.NEWS contacted Majekodunmi, he confirmed the issue but quickly added that the amount Mrs. Badmus was claiming was outrageous, adding that he could not pay N75,000 per month for lodging in a hotel.

“How can I pay N75,000 per  month? How much is my salary? I am not a thief,” he said.

On the allegation that he usually frees rape suspects, with  reference to the Obere village incident of 14 May, 2015, he said he is not the investigating police officer, IPO.

Majekodunmi said our correspondent should see the IPO of the case. All efforts to make him speak further failed as he ended the conversation abruptly.
