The 7 Division of the Nigerian Army on Saturday said it had relaxed the 24-hour curfew imposed on Maiduguri from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. daily.

The Spokesman of the Division, Col. Tukur Gusau, made this known in a statement in Maiduguri.

Gusau said that the curfew was imposed following last Wednesday’s foiled Boko Haram attack on the city.
