Azara, who is a legal practitioner, told NAN on Wednesday in Lafia that the call was imperative in order to fight poverty, unemployment and other social vices.

He advised President elect Muhammadu Buhari to only appoint leaders of proven integrity in to his cabinet.

Azara said such appointments would promote accountability and transparency in the country.

“I want to advise the President elect, retired Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and Al-Makura to reduce drastically the cost of governance and fight poverty and unemployment.

“I believed that Buhari, as we know him, is a man of proven integrity and unquestionable character, and it is our belief and hope that he will listen to our advice.
