Nigeria’s president-elect Muhammadu Buhari has been advised to appoint people of proven integrity into his cabinet in order to ensure speedy development of the country.

Alhaji Mohammed Tanko, former Administrator of Azara Development Area of Nasarawa State, gave this advice during interview with NAN in Lafia on Monday.

“Buhari is a man of proven integrity and unquestionable character, hence this advice.

“Appointment of people with proven integrity will not only only help to fight corruption but also poverty and unemployment.

“It will also address the current challenges facing the nation for the benefit of all,” Tanko said.

He called on Nigerians to continue to pray for the incoming administration to enable it to succeed in the task ahead of it.

Tanko added that prayer was key to the success of every individual and government.

The former administrator enjoined the people of the state to live in peace and tolerate one another irrespective of ethnic, religious and political affiliations.
