Retired civil servant turned Gelede Ado Apala musician, the Amuludun of Ado-Awaye, Chief Mukaila Ayinla Adeoye recently released his new album titled Ikilo (Warning).

Ikilo, released from the stable of Madek Venture is his third album and is a follow-up to sophomore, Isokan (Unity) dropped in December 2013 while his debut Imoran (Advice) was released in 2012.

According Adeoye, Gelede Ado Apala music genre was ‘imported’ from Imeko-Afon, Ogun State to Igbo-Ora , Ibarapa division of Oyo State before it eventually migrated to Ado-Awaye also in Oyo State.

The Iseyin, Oyo State based Adeoye told P.M.NEWS Entertainment Cafe that he began a career in music shortly after his retirement from civil service in 2007.

He added that his mother, who he described as a great musician, is his role model.
