Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN), a leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, said President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, would help to restoreNigeria’s lost glory.

Akeredolu stated this in a statement in Lagos on Wednesday and made available to NAN.

He urged Buhari and the team that would take over governance of the country to remain resolute in their determination for a better Nigeria.

He noted that the lost glory of the country would be restored in short while if the incoming government pursued its goals.

“I congratulate Nigerians for refusing to be hoodwinked by the baits thrown at them.

According to Akeredolu, the announcement of the resounding victory recorded by the people of Nigeria in the just-concluded elections is instructive.

He said that the outcome of the election confirmed the belief that a determined people would never lose.

Akeredolu, who was defunct Action Congress of Nigeria’s (ACN) candidate in the 2012 governorship election in Ondo state, commended people of the state for voting for the APC during the last elections.

“I must specially congratulate my people in Ondo State for the emphatic statement made to distance themselves far from hypocrisy, treachery and serial betrayal,” he said.
