Flying Eagles Hit Camp Sunday For U-20 World Cup

With just 51 days to the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup billed for New Zealand, coach of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles, Manu Garba has disclosed that they will hit camp this Sunday in Abuja to start final preparations for the tournament.

Manu noted that Kelechi Ihenacho, Chidiebere Nwakali, Isaac Success, Daddy Moses, Wilfred Ndidi ( invited players in his 35 man provisional list) are expected to join the squad at a later date to fight for shirts once they are released by their European teams.

“There are no big surprises in the list. We’ve invited Isaac Success, Kelechi Iheanacho, Chidiebere Nwakali, Wilfried Ndidi, Kingsley Sokari, Daddy Moses; who was my player in the Golden Eaglets and featured for the Super Eagles. They will be coming to fight for places in the team.

“We will resume camping this weekend; Sunday, and we’ll start training with the players on ground because some of them are involved in club duties. I have the assurance that they will join us as soon as their clubs give them the nod,” Garba said.
