Cool FM on air personality (OAP) Mannie has been named Favourite On-Air Personality Nigeria at the 28th Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards held recently at The Forum in Inglewood, California, USA.
The popular OAP won the award ahead of fellow nominees, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, Tosyn Bucknor and Big Tyme after scoring the most votes from Nigerian kids.
“I cannot believe I won Best OAP in Nigeria at the KCAs 2015. I’m too excited! I am so grateful to everyone that voted for me and I know that this is just the beginning of greater things to come,” said Mannie.
He now joins last year’s winner, Freeze as the second Nigerian OAP to be recognised at the Kids Choice Awards since inception.
In addition to the awards and several thrilling stunts, the 2015 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards also featured 5-star performances from 5 Seconds of Summer, Iggy Azalea among many other performers.
Voting for the 2015 KCAs took place at 19 localised voting sites across six continents in addition to twitter hashtag voting.
