Tell us about your educational background…

I have a First Class graduate in Computer Science from Covenant University and hold an  MBA from the Lagos Business School.

How did you venture into this line of business?

I just followed my passion, and it led me on this amazing journey. I started making accessories in my second year in the university, and I continued to make accessories over the years. After a while, I felt the urge to start teaching people all I had learnt, and hence I set up an accessories training school. I started getting requests from people outside Lagos, and so I started an online accessories school, then people started asking me questions on topics I had dealt with in the past, and so I started a business education company ST HUB Limited because I discovered that there was a gap in the business education industry in Nigeria and even Africa.

Through our various platforms, (Steph B-School,  Steph TV, Speaking Engagements, Live training events, and website, www.stephanieobi.com ) we talk about how to start a business, how to grow a business (especially with online marketing) and how to motivate employees.

We teach in a very fun and engaging manner, because we want people to really get the business skills. We have broken all the concepts down, so that it is really easy to follow and implement, and we have done this with our unique style.

As an online media strategist what services do you render to businesses and individuals?

I teach. I teach people how to use the internet to grow their business, as well as many other things. I believe that education is the most powerful world-changing force in our time, and I want people to be equipped with the right information they need to achieve their full potentials

What are some of the opportunities that exist with these new technologies?

You can market to customers all over the world and they can patronize your products and services.

How can entrepreneurs take advantage of some of these new media tools to improve service delivery?

Entrepreneurs can use it for customer service; it can also be used for research, to find out more about what their customers are really asking for. It can also be used to offer more value to customers such as free tips, bonuses, etc. These activities aid in building customer loyalty.

You recently came up with the 30 day social media challenge, what is the concept about and how has the feedback been so far?

A lot of people know that they need to use social media to grow their business, but they struggle with small issues like not knowing what to post, not having the time to think about what to post, etc.

The 30 Days Social Media Challenge was my small way of helping people resolve this challenge. For 30 days, I share tips that anyone can post on their social media pages.
