Black Moses, musician turned prophet, has advised politicians to always accept defeat, eschew violence before, during and after elections.

The foremost reggae singer said politicians should learn from the mistakes of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN, who allowed politics of bitterness and factionalisation to tear the association apart.

Moses, founder of ‘One Love And Peace Initiative’, a non-government organisation that fights for the less privileged in the society, said if PMAN factions had embraced peace, the association would have been stronger than it is today.

He recalled: “Some human rights activists in 2008/2009 intervened in PMAN issue during the tenure of Tee Mac and Dele Abiodun, and concluded that it is only sacrifice that can take PMAN to the highest level.

Black Moses started his music career in 1991 from Kano State. He released his first album titled ‘Peace and Unity’ on Rogers Music label.
