Budding female gospel singer Oluwatobi Agossou, has completed work on a seven-track album titled E Wa Ba Mi Gbe Ga and it will be released soon.
In a chat with P.M.NEWS Entertainment Cafe, Tobi disclosed that she began a career in music several years ago as a member of choir of the Celestial Church of Christ, National Headquarters, Makoko, Yaba, Lagos and began to nurse the ambition of making an album 15 years ago.
“Besides the fact that I started singing in a church choir from early age, music also runs in my veins as my mother is a fine singer. She has featured as back-up singer for many prominent gospel music acts,” she said.
Tobi added that it was her mother, Mrs. Tina Paul, who encouraged and supported her as well as played the role of co-producer on the project.
Apart from the title track, other tracks of the album recorded at 2KB (formerly Ivory Music) Studio, Ikeja, Lagos and produced by ace guitarist Olufemi Kolebaje a.k.a. Bolla, include Iya N’iya Mi, Oluso Agutan, Ologo Ju Lo, Mo Juba Re, Praise Lord and Thank You Lord.
