The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will on Monday 26 January, flag-off her 2015 governorship campaign/mega rally ahead of the February elections.
The flag-off according to a statement made available to P.M NEWS by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Taofeek Gani, will be held at the Airways Ground, Oba Akinjobi Street, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, southwest Nigeria.
The rally which according to the PDP will demoralise the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state, will officially kick start the campaigns for all the PDP candidates in the elections.
Expected at the rally are chieftains of the PDP within and outside the state. “We shall have our mega rally to officially kick start our campaigns and the unstoppable movement to send APC out of Alausa tomorrow.
“Yes, we have been having pre-flag off programmes as part of our reach out strategies, but at this occasion, we will officially present our governorship candidate to Lagosians.
“We have heard the rally called many good names. We see the rally as the “God’s Anointed Rally”. We will use the occasion to reel out majority of our realisable promises to Lagosians and give them the reasons to vote PDP at all the elections in february,” said the state chairman of the party, Tunji Shelle.
The PDP also cautioned miscreant or sponsored agent provocateur to steer clear of the venue as adequate security has been put in place to put under control any mischief maker.
