Amosun is performing miracles in Ogun, says Ernest Sonekan

Former interim president of Nigeria, Chief Ernest Shonekan has declared that with the spate of development in Ogun state, miracles is being performed by the governor.

The Abese of Egbaland commended the giant stride and bold steps taken by Governor Ibikunle Amosun in delivering dividends of democracy to the good people of the state.

He said what not disappointed with what he has been seeing across the state, praying that, the good Lord will continue to strengthen Amosun.

Shonekan stated this during his goodwill message at this year Ogun State Xmas Carol and Season of Nine Lessons held on Monday at the June 12 cultural centre, Kuto, Abeokuta.

According to him, “Miracles seems to be happening in our state. With what we are seeing around our state, progress has been made. I want to congratulate Mr Governor. The governor has done exceedingly well, you only need to look around to see the massive infrastructure. Please, keep it up, may Almighty God continue to support you,” Sonekan said.

In the same vein, the General Superintendent, Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W. F. Kumuyi declared that the day remained a historical day as it is the first time he will miss the Monday School programme in his church since the inception of the church.

The Man of God disclosed that the developmental projects going on around the town made him attend the Xmas carol which was held on Monday.

“Today is the first time I will not attend Monday school since the inception of Deeper Life Ministry. This shows the love and respect I have for our governor because of the good work he has been doing in the state,” Kumuyi revealed.

Governor Amosun however thanked the good people of the state for their unalloyed support since the inception of this administration, noting that with prayers, the country will surmount all its challenges.

The governor also declared that the state has adopted every December 22 as its Xmas carol day, not minding which day it falls on.

According to him, “This is a season of love, season of peace. And to let you all know, every December 22 is our Xmas carol, not minding what day it falls. We want the elders and people of the state to continue to support the state government to achieve more.

“I want to say that, despite the challenges in the country, prayer can help to surmount the challenges. Also, as election draws nearer, pray for peace to continue to reign in the state,” Amosun advised.
