The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted dust haze conditions with visibility of about 5000 metres in the central states on Saturday, Dec. 20.
According to the forecast, the northern states will experience dust haze conditions with visibility, greater than 5000 meters in the morning hours.
The forecast stated that visibility would deteriorate in the region toward the evening hours to local visibility of less than 2000 metres at locations in the North-East.
“The southern coastal areas will experience misty conditions in the morning hours and cloudy conditions with slight chances of localised rain showers.
The rain showers are expected over few places like Eket and Port Harcourt along the South-East cost during the afternoon period.
Hazy conditions are expected in the inland areas during the forecast period,” NiMet stated.
