Nigeria’s leading pharmaceutical company, Fidson Healthcare Plc is set to transform the country’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry with the construction of its new World Health Organization (WHO)-standard Biotech Plant, located in Sango Ota area of Ogun State.

The new plant will help Fidson accomplish a world-class pharmaceutical manufacturing capacity, that will in turn help it to compete healthily with its foreign counterparts, thereby placing the country’s healthcare manufacturing sector on a global pedestal.

The company’s Managing Director, Dr Fidelis Ayebae who made this known stated that presently, the company is almost exhausting its manufacturing capacity due to the volume of demands for its products by Nigerians, both at the institutional and individual level. This he said has called for a more massive manufacturing plant that can meet its growing demand.
