Supersports to broadcast NSA Award live

The organisers of Nigerian Sports award, Unmissable Incentives Limited have sealed a partnership deal with Supersports, leading sports television outfit for the production and live broadcast of the third edition of the award billed for Muson Centre, Lagos on November 13, 2014

This was disclosed by Kayode Idowu, General Manager, Unmissable Incentives Limited after a partnership meeting with the leading sports outfit in Lagos as part of activities towards a successful hosting of the biggest sport event in Nigeria as countdown begins to the event which is expected to bring together the crème de la crème in the Nigerian Sports circle.

According to Idowu, Nigerian Sports Award and SuperSports have sealed a partnership deal that will enable Supersports handle the digital coverage/production and live broadcast of the award gala night to the viewing pleasure of teeming sports fans in Nigeria and beyond.

“We are indeed very proud to announce that all arrangements have been concluded with one of our strategic partners Supersports to handle the production and live broadcast of the event for 2 hours,” Idowu said.

Speaking earlier during a press conference held recently, the General Manager for Supersports, Mr. Felix Awogu noted that Supersports is proud to partner with the organisers of Nigerian Sports Award to further recognize, reward and encourage excellence performance in Nigerian athletes.

Awogu noted that Supersports will continue to add value and support development of Sports in Nigeria through strategic partnership and alliance with relevant bodies such as Nigerian Sports Award.

Meanwhile, the organisers of Nigerian Sports Award have hailed the Super Falcons for their triumphant display after clinching their 7th African Women Championship (AWC) in Namibia defeating Cameroon by 2-0.

Idowu stated that Nigeria Sports Award is particularly proud of the 2 nominees Azeezat Osouala and Okparanozie Desire who are both nominated for the footballer of the year (Women) category while Azeezat is also nominated for the Sports Woman of the year category for this year’s edition.
