The Lagos State Chapter of PDP on Thursday condoled with the Synagogue Church of All Nations over the death of some of its adherents as a result of the collapse of its guest house on Friday.
NAN reports that the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on Wednesday said that 80 bodies had been evacuated from the site.
“We condole with the Synagogue Church family and pray that the Lord will give the Church and family members of the deceased the fortitude to bear the losses” the state PDP said in a statement in Lagos.
The statement was signed by its State Publicity Secretary, Mr Gani Taofik.
It urged the Lagos State Government to have an open mind in carrying out investigation into the cause of the building collapse.
