A pressure group, One Nigeria for Jonathan Foundation (ONJF), on Wednesday held a one million-man march for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan in Bariga, Lagos State.

Chairman of ONJF  Lagos State, Dr. Charles Akintoye, told the crowd that Lagosians have numerous reasons to support President Jonathan for re-election in 2015 and that the reasons are not just for the benefit of Lagosians but for the entire people of Nigeria irrespective of tribal or religious differences since Lagos State is a microcosm of Nigeria.

He listed some of the achievements of President Jonathan in education, transportation, agriculture, electricity oil and gas, establishment of 127 al-majiri schools in the North to curb the spread of child vagrancy and security menace.

Others are include establishment of 10 new Federal Universities to give wider opportunity to all from any part of the country, the replacement of unserviceable railway wagons and coaches, opening of more railway routes from Lagos to other parts of the country to ease interstate transportation and reduce road carnage, construction of 10,000 low cost housing units across the six-geopolitical zones of the country and unbundling and privatisation of electricity generation and distribution in the country.
