Presented by The Make it Happen Productions, the same company that produces Open Mic Theatre every other month and V-Monologues in May 2013, the play focuses on the intriguing character called Chief Theophilus Gbadegeshin Olowookere, his sister and his three wives, Angela, Cecilia and Tobi.

“We are excited about this play. These are talented members of cast and the audience is going to leave the play very entertained,” said Akindoju, who is the producer of the play and Creative Director of The Make it Happen.

In “The Wives”, the question ‘can a man keep his most cherished secrets forever?’ is the central theme of the play.

“There lies a sordid little secret and no one wants to talk about it. It is a dark comedy rich in sensuality and humour,” Akindoju added.

Yerima, the author, was General Manager of the National Theatre of Nigeria and Artistic Director of National Troupe of Nigeria.
