PDM pulls out Adamawa guber election

People’s Democratic Movement

The People’s Democratic Movement (PDM) says the party will not participate in the 11 October Adamawa state gubernatorial bye-election.

Alhaji Ahmed Abubakar, National Publicity Secretary of PDM, made this known to NAN in Abuja on Friday via telephone.

Abubakar attributed the development to lack of substantive leadership in the party, adding that PDM was yet to conduct its congresses.

According to him, it is more important for the party to have successful congresses than to partake in an election when the party’s substantive leadership structure is not in place.
