GUS XI Top 30 Contestants Unveiled

The top 30 contestants that will proceed to the Lagos Leadership and Training School otherwise known as Sea School in Apapa, Lagos for the grand finale of the eleventh edition of Gulder Ultimate Search, Nigeria’s biggest reality TV show, have been announced.

The ‘triumphant 30’  made it to this stage out of thousands of contestants who competed at the recently concluded regional selection exercises held in Lagos, Benin, Awka and Port Harcourt.

From Lagos auditions are: Addoh Evi, Ubachukwu Chinedu, Otto Canon Chimenem, Foresythe Mosunmola Roseline, Osigweh Paul Chigozie, Nwagbagiro Sandra, Okhabu Philipa, Afolabi Emmanuel Olusegun and Ojiako Chiagozie Obinna.

Those from Benin are Erijakpor Loretta, Robinson Sharon, Eriata Blessing Ese, Udeh Victoria, Onolememen Odiase, Iheasi Ernest, Ayo Mene-Ejegi, Aghogho Umusu and Oluwafemi Ogunrinde. The contestants that scaled through from Port Harcourt region are: Nwagboso Joshua, Emedike Ikenna, Efuribe Tochi Enyinneya, Arinyedokiari Obeleye Tubonimi, Johnson Dennis, Nne Cosy Joe, Appi Samantha, Macauley Jennifer and Anoliefo Izuchukwu.

Only three contestants scaled through from Awka. They are Iroh Noela, Iwuoha Ikenna Ezenwajiaku and Ifyness Ifeoma.

They were shortlisted for the next stage of the rigorous selection process of the search having passed the rigorous physical and swimming exercises, as well as interviews and medical examinations. They are presently going through a further 3-day drill to test their readiness for the highly entertaining brawn and brain show.

The build-up to Gulder Ultimate Search 11 has witnessed many changes. Onyeka Okoli, Senior Brand Manager, Gulder, Nigerian Breweries Plc, said the changes are geared towards giving TV audiences a great viewing experience.

Dennis Okike was the last winner and 10th Ultimate champion of GUS, Nigeria’s first and longest running reality TV programme, which was first aired in 2004.
