Charismatic Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe of Genesis Model International Parish of Celestial Church of Christ, CCC, has joined the league of radio and TV station owners in the country.
While still waiting for license from National Broadcasting Commission, the renowned preacher has floated an internet radio called Genesisonlineradio along with an Online TV named Genesistvonline.
While the online radio commenced transmission two months ago with over 20,000 listeners across the globe, the TV station berthed last Sunday during the church’s convention tagged: Bethel 2014, held at its headquarters in Alagbado, Lagos.
Genesis online radio and TV are gospel music channels, life style and entertainment stations. It runs for 24 hours a day with programmes, news, teachings and gospel music to keep listeners grooving.
Mrs. Omobolanle Akinriyibi, Genesis’ Head of Radio Services, said the online stations are teaser to what to expect soon once the NBC granted the church its license.
“We are currently working on getting a major license from NBC and before it would materialize, we decided to go online. And very soon, we shall launch our TV on a notable cable in the country. But for now, we are keeping it under wraps,” she assured.
Samuel Temitope, Head, IT, Genesis Media said millions of naira had been sunk into the project from broadcast equipment to training of staff members who were selected from various media houses.
